Yes! If you paid through NowServing, the refund is automatically processed as soon as you cancel the booking request given that the doctor has not yet accepted the request.
However, it will depend on your payment method on when it will show up on your account.
- GCash/GrabPay: Refunds are usually instant or within 24 hours
- Credit/Debit Card: It usually takes 30–45 business days, similar to other card refunds.
Note: Refunds may take longer depending on the bank, the time provided is just an estimate.
If you haven't received your refund within the suggested timeframe, it's best to contact your bank regarding the reversal.

If you paid directly to the provider (NOT via NowServing):
Please reach out to the healthcare provider or their secretary through the NowServing app messages. We do not have visibility on payments made outside of NowServing.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
1. I contacted my bank and they told me that they haven't received the funds yet and advised me to talk to you.
- You may email us at support@nowserving.ph and we can provide the proof of payment from our end, which you can use as a reference for your bank. Please note that the funds may take some time to reflect on the bank's end depending on the bank's processing time.
2. Do I get notified once the amount has been refunded?
- You’ll get an SMS notification as soon as the doctor issues your refund.

3. The doctor accepted the request but we agreed to cancel the consultation and the doctor promised a refund but I haven't gotten any.
- If the doctor only canceled the consultation, the refund won’t be processed automatically. The best approach is to ask the doctor to void the payment, or you can submit a refund request directly through us.
4. I cancelled my request but it prompts me to reschedule the appointment.
- Most likely, your appointment was already accepted and you're cancelling from the appointment confirmation notification. If you wish to cancel your booking with the doctor, you can either inform them directly or submit a refund request through our form. Please note that on our end, we'll just be forwarding your request to the doctor, and the decision to approve it will be up to them.
